Two bedrooms: One with a queen size bed, one with two single beds, plus a pull-out sleep sofa (double).

Parking. There is plenty of parking. Rockport parking and beach stickers are available at Town Hall. We do have a cottage transfer station sticker for trash and recycling. The cottage is on the beach, so our guests can just stroll over to one of Rockport's finest beaches.

Location. Cottage sits near a conservation salt marsh behind Cape Hedge Beach. Beautiful ocean views from wraparound deck with gas grill and a large awninged table. The property has a spacious yard off a cottage road with low traffic. You will also be a scenic two-minute stroll from one of the nicest beaches in New England and within a five minute ride from downtown Rockport and to the commuter rail station with easy access to Boston and Maine, and all points in between.

Rental week. Saturday to Saturday. Check-in: 2:00 p.m. Check-out: 10:00 a.m. Sometimes extra days are available at the last minute.

Linens are included. We ask that the cottage be left in good condition for next guest. (Personal items to be washed will have to be taken to one of the local laundramats ten minutes away, one near a Dunkin Donuts, the other near a local coffee shop.)

Trash. A transfer station sticker is available in the cottage. We ask guests to take a trip to the transfer station with their trash and recycling. Most enjoy the truly Rockport experience and local color. Plus, many have participated in the famous Swap Shed which includes an extensive paperback collection!

Telephones and Internet Connections: There is cell reception. We have a high speed Internet WiFi or hard wire, if you wish), and basic cable TV upgradable to your favorite premium channels if you give us notice. Guest pays for upgrade).

Heating. There is a heating unit in the cottage (propane). It helps a lot on crisp evenings and mornings but it is inadequate in really cold weather or prolonged cold weather. The house is a true "cottage" and is not winterized.

Rent. $1150/week up to July 1. $1450/week in season (July 1 through September, week #2). Off season $1150 (After September, week#2).

$500 nonrefundable deposit due with signed agreement.
